You might say that Raw Talent is a fairly ambiguous name for an endeavour in selling jams & chutney and you’d be right !
The name was born over several pints in a distant Brecon pub where the locals sensibly kept us at arm’s length as we sat down to brainstorm ideas on a big sheet of paper. As per the “What is” post we were looking for a business name to cover a wider range of potential products and services all with a common theme.
The RAW speaks of not only raw fruit/vegetables for making quality produce and of starting from scratch with the most basic ingredients, but also working with the basics that you’re given in any context.
The TALENT speaks of natural abilities and strengths we all have available to build upon in whatever areas of life, the ability to take those raw basics and turn them into something great, the best that they can be.
No doubt there are many parallels in life but for now we’re talking about taking the best RAW ingredients and showing off all their TALENTS by making them the best they can be in the Jam, Chutney or Relish we produce.
