As well as both holding down full time jobs and running Raw Talent we occasionally find time to roam the country which more often than not involves Stopping for a cup of tea, which more often than not involves a farm shop or garden centre!

One thing we always take notice of is the Selection of jams and Chutneys, if nothing else looking for interesting ideas to try! However we very quickly begin to recognise brands, labels and packaging and take a look at where they come from and who produce them.

Once you start to do this you realise three things: Read More →

Here are a couple of places to start on this one:
Why Raw Talent ?
Always read the label…
With the rise of specialist diets & foods we’re increasingly asked if our products are actually Raw and whilst we like a challenge this isn’t one we’ve taken up to date, although we can make many of our products both Gluten Free and Vegan depending on the original ingredients used !

So given the opportunity to come to a Vegetarian & Vegan food fair (once again at Fargo Village) now is the time to give it a try so as well as our usual range of jams, chutneys & traybakes (all vegetarian of course) we’ll be having a go at veganising (that’s a word right) a few of our recipes and if time allows trying out a few new things.

We’ll be relying on your feedback to what works and what doesn’t and hopefully can add some of these to our regular range at future events!

Get in touch: If you have a specific craving or a good recipe you think we should be trying out then please drop us a line via the contact page.

We’ll be there with the usual Jams & Chutneys, Chocolate Brownies and a few additions to the range that proved popular at the Chocolate Festival!

Hopefully an event that will grow & gain support as the year goes on so please come along and support us and the other local traders taking part or based at Fargo.

Parking can be a bit chaotic on a busy weekend on Far Gosford Street so here are some options…
